Reporting to the Commercial Effectiveness Director, the Commercial L&D Lead will focus on embedding a performance culture across EGS Commercial teams through talent & performance management and learning and development opportunities and will be responsible for the design and delivery of appropriate training for best practice performance, as well as ensuring that appropriate records are retained of all training in order to meet regulatory requirements.
+ Act as an internal sales trainer and coach for the commercial teams in the European Segment, providing tailored training and development solutions towards desired performance outcomes by team and/or region
+ Partner with relevant global and EMEA stakeholders, leaders, and subject matter experts to design and deliver Commercial training and enablement activities
+ Work closely with Cigna L&D and Business Development functions to create new and engaging ways ensure support the continuous learning and development of our Broker Partners
+ Managing the Training Needs Analyses (TNA) process for the European Commercial teams, ensuring compliance with local legislation and individual role requirements.
+ Design and implement metrics to measure and report on success of training programs incl. impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility
+ Overseeing the full training / development cycle including evaluation of training; on-boarding, development and refreshers
+ Work closely with Cigna L&D functions to create and deliver an innovative Commercial Induction plan
+ Continue to support, coach, and deliver innovative sales training to the teams to directly support their personal, team, and department targets.
+ Define and create quality assurance frameworks; including all relevant policies, procedures and templates
+ Use quality framework to conduct monthly quality assurance reviews across Sales teams, ensuring outputs remain in line with agreed targets.
+ Assess the knowledge and skills of the Sales team and provide coaching & development to support them in delivering service that remains in line with Cigna brand values.
+ Ensure that all sales activities are conducted in accordance with regional regulatory and compliance requirements and remain in line with Cigna Policies
+ Coordinate face to face sessions with Sales Managers delivering coaching & development for technical & soft skills
+ Provide monthly reporting to Sales Directors outlining performance against KPIs, highlighting adverse performance and suggesting remedial actions to mitigate ongoing risks
