Provide personnel, supervision, materials and services necessary to perform full food services as defined in AFI 34-239, Food Services Management, AFMAN 34-240, Food Service Program Management, FDA Food Code, AFI 48-116, Food Safety Program, AFOSH 91-300 and the Preface to the United States Air Force World Wide Menu.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
+ Dining Facility Manager will be responsible for food services operations and personnel supervision in accordance with the performance work statement. Food service operation services to include: DFAC management, food is served in standard portions, flight meals with 24/7 availability, baking pastries, delivery of school lunches daily, storeroom operations, food service accounting procedures, and DFAC equipment maintenance and replacement.
+ Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards, leading by example, working as a team and providing clean, friendly and well-maintained facilities.
+ Shall conduct all food handling, storage, receiving and transferring of subsistence in strict accordance with the applicable Tri-Service Food Code and keep records of all food received and stored as required, verifying proper handling and storage procedures are used.
+ Shall Request government funding for new or replacement equipment items via AF Form 9. Coordinate procurement upon government approval of funding.
+ Post and maintain Food Menu boards.
+ Manage Spanish National performance with food preparation, food serving, cashier operations, cleanliness of the dining areas, serving lines, kitchens, temperature danger zones, dishwashing area and storage areas IAW with PWS and AFIs.
+ Maintain all equipment accountability and serviceability and turn-in and ordering of stock levels.
+ Ensure that all employees are always in compliance with all established Safety Policies and Regulations.
+ Direct and ensure that HACCP controls are in use.
+ Establish and maintain a comprehensive food safety-training program.
+ Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
+ Responsible for ensuring precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
+ Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
+ Medically cleared for Food Service operations
+ BS or BA degree in food or hospitality management or five years of management experience.
+ Must maintain a current Serv-safe Managers certification certificate
Five years management experience with a minimum of 4 years as a supervisor of a food service facility serving full-service meals. Additional experience/education may be required by contract or assignment.
