We are the Global Marketplace Analytics team, within the Pricing and Digital Analytics Centre of Excellence. Our vision is to generate tangible benefits for HP by developing and delivering products and consultancy that improve the speed and quality of decision making through automation, data and data science.
We're looking for a Digital Analyst that can become an advanced subject matter expert that works on complex problems, where analysis data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, and validates findings using an experimental and iterative approach. Also, able to present back the analysis or models/tools to the business by exposing assumptions and validation work in a way that can be easily understood by business counterparts. That's why
excellent communications skills to report back the outcome of the work in a clear and structured manner are required, and strong ability to teamwork and to partner with other teams is crucial!
Manages the relationship with business and marketing leadership, collects requirements, prepare & prioritize plans to address stakeholder needs and ensure timely execution of projects.
Identifies research, tools, and analyses required to achieve objectives for multiple workstreams or projects.
Responsible for the analysis of complex problems, discover insights and identifying patterns or trends using mining and visualization techniques.
Proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied datasets. Deals with large size of data, big data, and ensures that data that is accurate and reliable.
Ensures that business and marketing teams operating with Marketplace partners (e.g. Amazon) can dispose of the most accurate information to support their decisions
Selects key information and conclusions to develop a comprehensive set of recommendations for optimizing business and sales performance.
Consults with business leaders on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process and related projects.
Independently drafts and presents client deliverables, recommendations and communication strategies.
Education and Experience Required:
Typically 5-8 years work experience.
Often 2 years post' advanced degree experience in management consulting, business analytics, digital analytics, sales performance optimization.
Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and independently manage project objectives.
Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, ETL tools, statistical analysis
Experience in data visualization tools (PowerBI or Tableau)
Developed business acumen and technical knowledge within at least two business units.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, and influence.
Excellent project management skills, including project structuring.
Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
Developed leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and management.
Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to project objectives
